Located ten miles from Stettler, Alberta, Twin Arrows Ranch is a working cattle ranch with an active Paint and Quarter Horse breeding program. The ranch’s operation is a family affair, run by Harry and Maureen Neitz, two of their sons, and their families.
The Paint breeding program is headed by Peppys Abit Swift, a Sorrel & White Tobiano stallion who is a Son of Especialysmart Peppy and Grandson of Mr Freckles Olena by Colonel Freckles on the bottom. He has been used for ranch work and we love his super mind and disposition. His colts will be athletic and easy to work with.
The Quarter Horse program is headlined by Especialysmart Peppy, a grandson of Smart Little Lena and Peppy San Badger. Highbrow San Peppy, a Red Dun son of Highbrow Hickory. Highbrow is broke with a super mind and great handle. We are extremely impressed with the results of the cross of Highbrow on our Especialysmart Peppy and Cotton daughters.
The Twin Arrows broodmare band numbers around 50 and features the blood of Quarter Horses such as Peppy Badge Olena, Mr. Freckles Olena, King Leo Bar, Peppy San, Doc Olena, Tippy Canoe, The Ole Man, Triple Chick, Boston Mac and Sugar Bars.
Hosting an annual fall Paint & Quarter Horse production sale affords the Neitz’ the opportunity not only to market their foals, but to meet and make friends with an ever expanding group of new Paint and Quarter Horse enthusiasts.
